Cupping therapy in Agoura Hills
Current availability, useful background, and available massage alternatives on Kanan Road.
Looking for cupping therapy near Agoura Hills? Check current availability before planning a visit. The Agoura Hills Spa's current menu focuses on massage, wellness, and packages; cupping is not listed.
Our studio is at 5871 Kanan Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301, open every day from 10 AM to 9 PM. This page explains cupping's technique, evidence, and risks so you can make an informed decision wherever you seek care.
What cupping is
Cupping uses cups to create suction on the skin. Dry cupping leaves the skin intact; wet cupping pierces it and draws blood. Those are different procedures with different risks, so ask any provider which technique they use before arranging a session.
The marks and the evidence
Round marks are a skin response to suction. They are not proof that toxins have left the body, and their color does not measure a treatment's success. Tell your health care provider where any marks came from.
NCCIH's cupping overview says cupping may reduce pain, but the evidence is weak. Evidence for other conditions is insufficient. That supports cautious expectations, not a promise of recovery or a cure.

If you want hands-on massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Massage + Hot Stone are on the current menu. These are separate services, with their own techniques; neither includes cupping.
