The best massage for your visit is the one that fits your preferences and schedule. At The Agoura Hills Spa, you can compare clearly named Relaxing, Deep Tissue, and Signature services before booking, rather than treating every massage as the same appointment.

We are at 5871 Kanan Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301, open every day from 10 AM to 9 PM. The current booking system is Booker. Check the service, duration, price, and available start time there before reserving.

That's the whole pitch. We're not the only good room in the Conejo Valley and we won't pretend to be. But most "best of" lists skip the two things that actually decide your night: how far you have to drive, and whether the place is even unlocked when you're finally free. We're a minute off the 101 at Kanan, and nobody flips the sign until 9 PM. Tuesday, 8:15, a knot the size of a golf ball under your shoulder blade — that beats a half-star on a review site every time.

Does a massage actually do anything, or is it just nice?

A bit of both, and we'll keep it modest, because modest is the honest register here. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health notes that the research points to massage giving short-term relief for things like low-back pain, neck pain, and the ordinary grind of stress — while saying plainly that the evidence is still thin and it's no stand-in for a clinician when something's genuinely wrong. Translated: a good hour really does leave you looser, calmer, and better company for a while. It's not a cure. We'd never sell it as one. If something hurts in a way that scares you, go see a doctor first — then come to us for the part a massage is honestly good at.

Want the long, sink-in version instead of a quick reset? A day-spa afternoon in Agoura Hills stacks the massage with the extras and makes an afternoon of it. Either way — the door on Kanan Road opens at 10 and stays open till 9.

Start with the experience you want

For a gentle, flowing session, compare Relaxing Massage. For sustained, focused pressure, compare Deep Tissue. Signature is the premium option, with botanical oils, aromatherapy, hot stones, warm towels, and a steam eye mask. Longer appointments give more time; they do not turn one service type into another.

Consider the whole trip

Our address is in Agoura Hills. Guests considering a visit from Oak Park, Westlake Village, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, or surrounding communities should allow for the drive as well as the appointment. Check current directions and availability before leaving.

Look beyond a generic full-body booking

The current menu includes focused 45-minute relief appointments, Reflexology, assisted Stretching, Prenatal Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, and Ashiatsu. Ask about suitability before booking a specialized service. Couples appointments and named spa packages offer other ways to plan a visit.

Common questions

Before you book

So is this the best massage in the Conejo Valley, or not?
Depends where you're standing. Really. If you live near Agoura Hills, Oak Park, or Westlake Village, we're the close one that's still open when you finally clock out — and on a Wednesday night that beats a five-star place you can't get into until next month. Out on the far west edge of Thousand Oaks, or up in Newbury Park? There's probably somebody five minutes nearer, and we'd rather you go there than white-knuckle the 101 to prove a point to yourself. Here's what we'll actually vouch for: a private room, a clearly priced Relaxing or Deep Tissue appointment, and a bill that doesn't come with a resort day stapled to it.
How do I know the therapist is legit?
Ask us. Seriously, we won't flinch. Many California cities require massage professionals to be CAMTC-certified (that's the California Massage Therapy Council), so when you book you're free to ask about your therapist's credentials — better to ask than sit there wondering.
How do I book?
Book through the current Booker service menu or call the spa. Select the exact service and length you want; each entry has its own price and appointment availability.
Where is the spa and when is it open?
The Agoura Hills Spa is at 5871 Kanan Rd in Agoura Hills, open every day from 10 AM to 9 PM. Check current appointment availability before visiting.
