Robotic massage vs human massage
Compare the format, the conversation, and the current price before choosing your next visit.
A robotic session and a therapist massage offer different experiences. At The Agoura Hills Spa, iRelaxBot is available for 30 min or 50 min. Hands-on options include Relaxing Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Signature Massage.
What changes when a person does the work?
A therapist can discuss the areas you want to focus on, respond to feedback during manual work, and adjust pressure to your comfort. With an automated session, first ask staff about the device's settings, adjustments, and how to stop it. The way feedback is handled is one of the most useful differences to understand.

Compare actual appointments
iRelaxBot costs $40 for 30 min or $60 for 50 min. A hands-on service usually involves a different session length and inclusions, so compare the actual booking rather than treating the prices as a direct measure of quality.

Choose by preference and the session you want
If you want to try an automated experience, the iRelaxBot guide explains the current two-length menu. If you want someone to work directly with your pressure feedback and focus areas, choose a hands-on service.
Relaxing Massage is the straightforward relaxation choice. Deep Tissue Massage is a separate sustained-pressure service. Signature Massage adds included rituals such as hot stones, aromatherapy, warm towels, and a steam eye mask.
What the research can and cannot tell you
NCCIH describes limitations in the massage evidence, including benefits that may be short-term. Research about therapist-delivered massage cannot by itself prove that an automated device has the same effect. Neither format should be promised as a cure.
